Since Google uses the name "Daydream" as its Virtual Reality (VR) platform then it needs another name to replace the name of the daydream display on Android. The name "Screen Saver" is chosen to replace it. It only makes sense if the name of the Android daydream feature turns into a screen saver because that is the name of the original term. Some of you may be more familiar with the term screen saver than daydream even though the meanings are the same. Screen Saver can do what previously could be done by daydream.
2. Multi-Tasking Faster
Now you can double-tab the recent apps button to quickly switch between the last two apps used. For example, you're in Gmail but need to see something in Chrome to attach / include in an email. You can enable Multi-Window mode by long pressing on the Recent App button. This way, any active app will shift to the top of the screen (for the phone, or it will move to the left for the tablet) and the recent app list will be at the bottom of the screen. Choose the second application you will use. You can move the delimiter to resize the app window or to maximize the look of one of the apps, is not it? With this feature you can do multitasking more maskimal, for example open Youtube while answering BBM messages.
4. Viewing Two Chrome Tabs
This year Apple introduced the split-screen view tab feature in Safari for iPad users. Still in the same year Google also introduced a multi-window feature for Android. If you want to use Chrome in multi-window mode, do press the Menu button and select "Move to other window." This feature lets you open 2 Chrome tabs at once when you want to compare 2 pages of sites. With this feature you can also laugh at iOS users if needed, hehe ..
5. Drag-and-Drop Text and Images During Multi-Window Mode
If using two apps at the same time, you can drag-and-drop text between two application windows. The way highlight the text, then long press until the text until the floating menu appears. Drag the text to the text field in the other app window then release. The same is true when sharing photos between two apps, assuming the app has been updated to support this Google feature. How gaees? Steady right?
6. Lock Screen Have Your Own Wallpaper
After waiting for years finally the day has come (lebay, yak ..): Now you can specify a special wallpaper for Home Screen and specify a special wallpaper for Lock Screen or lock screen. For those of you who use ROM stock without a special application to replace the lock screen wallpaper, this is good news. You just select the picture and set it as wallpaper. Next will appear will appear a new command that the image will be used as a wallpaper Home Screen or Lock Screen or both. For those of you who use custom ROM or or additional applications do not underestimate this feature. Because this is including a great achievement that has never been unthinkable. Ha ha..
7. Clear All Recent Apps
Google adds the "Clear All" button to the latest apps, just a little hidden. Google does not place it at the bottom of the screen so that when viewing recent apps, you need to scrolling the screen up until it finds the button saying "Clear All". Press that button and all applications will be closed. When you close all recent apps, a new icon will be displayed to notify that there are no recent apps.
8. Where are APKs obtained?
Now Android Nougat will keep track of where an app is installed. Whether from the Google Play Store or the package installer (via the manual install). How to find out by Go to Settings then Apps and press on apps in list. Scroll down the page. There you will see the application installation source. For example, if an app is installed from the Play Store on App Details it will say "App installed from Google Play Store". Conversely, if the application is installed not through the App Store alias manual installed it says "App installed from Package Installer."
Speaking of installing apps from outside the Play Store, you'll find new installer animations that look luxurious when loading APKs. This is a small change that will not have a big impact when used everyday. Nevertheless animation changes are a pretty good thing. Who does not want to see Android bot image aka the Robot Android? Included with this new animation you will more often see the Android bot.
